Accrued Benefits are the collection of benefits which is being collected but not encashed till now.

For example is any is doing job, the certain portion of money of employee is being deducted and at the same time employeer where the person is doing the job is also contributing the same amount of money for the benefits of employee which is being deposited in PF [Provident Fund].  All these funds will be collected or accrued from both employee and employer till the time of retirement.  At the time of retirement employee will get both funds employee and employer contribution fund.
